Pre-Primary 1 (PP1)

Laying the Foundations for Lifelong Learning

Our PP1 class welcomes children aged 3 to 4 years. The curriculum at this stage is structured to expand your child’s curiosity while introducing more guided learning through fun and interactive experiences.

Key Areas of Focus:

  • Literacy Readiness: Letter recognition, phonemic awareness, and early writing through tracing and drawing.
  • Numeracy Foundations: Introduction to numbers, counting, sorting, shapes, and simple math concepts.
  • Creative Expression: Children explore art, music, role play, and storytelling to build imagination and confidence.
  • Physical & Motor Development: Activities like games, dance, and outdoor play enhance both fine and gross motor skills.
  • Life Skills & Independence: Simple routines like dressing, eating, and hygiene build self-confidence and responsibility.

“In PP1, your child begins to build the skills that spark independent thinking and a love for learning.”
